PRESS RELEASE

Bryn Du Art Center Awarded Energy Cooperative Grant

Granville, Ohio— The Bryn Du Art Center was recently awarded a grant from the Energy Cooperative's Operation Round Up Foundation to obtain brand new student easels. The fifteen new A-frame oak easels are very sturdy and adjustable so that they can be used by both children and adult students alike.

Bryn Du Executive Director Bruce Cramer said, “In our constant effort to upgrade facilities we truly appreciate the generosity of the Energy Cooperative’s Operation Round Up Foundation. We are grateful to have community partners like the Cooperative to help us continuously move our vision of education and cultural arts programming forward.” Operation Round Up was adopted as a community service program in 2005 by the Energy Cooperative’s Board of Directors, and is overseen by a dedicated foundation board. The program “rounds up” a member’s bill to the nearest dollar and that amount (which is completely tax deductible) is donated to local charities in the Energy Cooperative’s service area.

The Bryn Du Art Center is excited to continue offering exciting new classes by experienced instructors to the local community. The fall 2019 programming schedule, to be announced in August, will bring both old favorites and new class offerings to the Art Center. Classes and workshops for adults and children can be found at www.brynduart.com where new offerings are added often. The Bryn Du Art Center, part of the Bryn Du Commission, is dedicated to consistently bringing creative experiences to Granville, Ohio and the surrounding communities. Nestled in the historic Bryn Du Mansion property, the Art Center offers something for everyone, allowing for students of all ages to embrace creativity and exploration of the visual arts.
